one guy was cosplaying Iron Man, and the other was cosplaying the Eleventh Doctor, and later I was approached by a guy cosplaying the Fourth Doctor (he saw the Silence’s markings I had on my cheeks)
I was hugged by one of Poland’s most popular fantasy writer

I’ve just finished watching Hitchcock’s Rear Window and I went to tell my mother that Grace Kelly is absolutely gorgeous. Anyone who knows me at all knows that I love black haired women, and Hitchcock cast blondes as leading ladies. So my mother looked up at me, she frowned and she thought for a few seconds. I asked her what’s wrong, worried we’re gonna have another argument over my taste, and she just said, “well I was wondering if there were any brunettes in that film, but Grace Kelly was definitely blonde… I don’t understand”.
